After three years and 300 plus shows, Matt Sayles, (founder and front -man of the upper-peninsula of Michigan band “Frostbitten Grass”) migrated to the High Desert of Central Oregon. A Michigan Native, Sayles has played music for fifteen years in a variety of capacities, from Dixieland-trombone, to blues & bluegrass, and his original music shows the eclectic eccentricity of a cabin-fever ridden Northwood rambler and songwriter.
Back from his first national tour in late 2006 with Cisco Mirabent, Sayles settled in Cadillac Michigan to work on his next Album in relative isolation--until the winds blew Westward in the Spring of 2007, and he landed in Susanville, CA with a half-finished album, and a new address.
